When it comes to cancer prevention, it's the little things that count

Spectrum Health Cancer Center is hosting the Doctor Dialogue, "Eat Well, Live Well and Thrive."

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - One-third of most common cancers are preventable with proper nutrition, regular physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.

With that in mind, Spectrum Health Cancer Center is hosting the Doctor Dialogue, "Eat Well, Live Well and Thrive" Wednesday, April 11, at the Downtown Market in Grand Rapids.

Guests will hear firsthand from cancer experts how timely health screenings can actually save your life and how genetic testing can help uncover your family's cancer risk-factors.

Angie Ditmar is Vice President of Cancer Operations for Spectrum Health and she stopped by to talk about their comprehensive cancer program and all of the great work Spectrum Health Cancer Center is doing in the community to promote cancer prevention.
