SAINT JOSEPH, Mich. - Spectrum Health Lakeland and Mary Free Bed have come together to create a shared practice to provide advanced orthotic and prosthetic care to southwest Michigan.
The practice, dubbed Mary Free Bed Orthotics and Prosthetics at Spectrum Health Lakeland, is located at 2500 Niles Road, Suite 9 in St. Joseph. It will offer certified orthotists and prosthetists from Mary Free Bed who help fit patients with adaptive equipment such as cranial reshaping helmets, artificial limbs, and external braces.
Lakeland Health is already partners with Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. Back in 2015, Lakeland joined the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Network. Lakeland Health joined forces with Spectrum Health in 2018.
