GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Released just in time for this year's ArtPrize, Founders Brewing Company has once again created a special beer for the festival.
"Trigo" is what brewmaster Jeremy Kosmicki calls a "hoppy wheat lager" which was developed with Founders' partners at Mahou San Miguel in Spain.
"Trigo" is the latest in a line of beers Founder has created with ArtPrize in mind.
Previous ArtPrize beers include "Mosaic Promise" and "Green Zebra." Those beers were so successful they have remained a part of the Founders lineup which is distributed across the country.
You'll find "Trigo" at Founders' taprooms in Grand Rapids and Detroit as well as at bars and restaurants across Grand Rapids during the festival.
"Trigo" will also be on shelves in six-packs of cans throughout the US.
