HOUSTON — Newly leaked video shows George Floyd's arrest moments before he died on May 25. Floyd can be seen on the video resisting officers as they try to put him in the back of a squad car.

The bodycam video shows the Floyd being removed from his SUV at gunpoint and placed in handcuffs. He can be heard on the video pleading with officers as they try to put him in the back of a police vehicle.

Floyd is seen in the video falling to the ground as he's being walked to the police SUV. Floyd can be heard on the video saying he's claustrophobic and he would prefer to sit in the front seat of the police unit.

The video also shows a different view of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on Floyd's neck. The video also shows another officer checking Floyd's pulse while Chauvin is kneeling on his neck.

At the time, police said he was being arrested for a non-violent forgery. A video of his arrest went viral, sparking protests across the world.

Chauvin is charged with murder in connection with Floyd's death. He's the officer who was seen in the videos kneeling on Floyd's neck for nearly 10 minutes.

An autopsy revealed that Floyd "became unresponsive while being restrained by law enforcement officers." He was not able to be resuscitated. Also in his autopsy, it was revealed that Floyd tested positive for COVID-19 on April 3. Another test done at the time of his death came back positive as well. He also tested positive for cannabis, amphetamine and fentanyl.
