SPRING LAKE TWP., Mich. (Grand Haven Tribune) — Police officers surrounded a Spring Lake Township home Monday evening on a report of a man with a gun who broke into the home, but they found nothing to indicate there had been an intruder.

Police responded in force to a home on Pruin Street, east of Leonard Street, at about 7:20 p.m. An elderly woman said she thought there was an armed intruder, said Sgt. Jay Douglas of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
