Police looking for people who dumped trash in dumpster for Tri-Cities Kid's League

The Grand Haven Department of Public Safety is reminding people that dumping trash in someone else's dumpster is illegal.

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. - The Grand Haven Department of Public Safety is looking for the people who dumped "a large quantity of construction debris" in a dumpster that was rented by the Tri-Cities Kid's League.

Police say that dumping trash in someone else's dumpster is illegal, and now TCKL will have to pay to get rid of it.

TCKL is a non-profit organization that depends on donations, sponsorships and player fees to provide baseball and softball opportunities to local kids. The dumpster was rented by the group so they could clean their equipment shed.

The vehicle captured on security footage is an older white Chevrolet Suburban that was towing a steel frame and mesh trailer.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety at 616-842-3460, Ottawa County Silent Observer at 1-877-88-Silent or submit tips online.
