Hudsonville hosts free safety night

The whole family can learn about safety and those who protect and serve the Hudsonville community during a free event.

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - The Hudsonville community will have a chance to learn about the groups who serve and protect them every day.

The city is hosting a free safety night Tuesday, September 18. It runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hughes Park.

Kids can climb inside firetrucks and learn how to spray the hose. There will also be other safety vehicles there as well. Aero Med will also fly over.

Families can enjoy a free hot dog dinner while supplies last.

The event is sponsored by Meijer and Allstate.
