Macatawa Bank in Holland Township robbed

The suspect left bank in a four door sedan with a sunroof, possibly a Volkswagon Jetta. He is described as a stocky white male standing 5'3"-5'6", and weighing around 200 pounds.

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Ottawa County deputies are looking for the man that robbed a Macatawa Bank Tuesday afternoon.

It happened at the bank on Riley St in Holland Township at approximately 4:35 p.m. Investigators say the man had a handgun when he rushed up to the counter and demanded money.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect left bank in a four door sedan with a sunroof, possibly a Volkswagon Jetta. He is described as a stocky white male standing 5’3”-5’6”, and weighing around 200 pounds.

He was wearing dark basketball style shorts with a red emblem at the bottom and a black ball cap.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Silent Observer at 1-877-88-SILENT.
