Man charged in Holland shooting that injured 1

The victim remains in the hospital.

UPDATE, Monday, May 20: Rodney Antonio Jones, 38, was charged Monday with assault with intent to murder and felony firearms for a weekend shooting that injured one. 

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office said the victim and Jones know each other and the incident appears to have been a domestic dispute. 

The victim remains in the hospital. 

Jones was arraigned Monday, and his bond was set at $500,000 cash.

ORIGINAL STORY, Sunday, May 19: A Holland man is hurt after being shot around 12:45 a.m. Sunday. Deputies responded to Westwood Lane in Holland Township to investigate the shooting. The 37-year-old victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of a single gunshot wound. 

Deputies arrested another 38-year-old as part of their investigation. 

There is no word yet on the condition of the victim.
