More than a dozen Lakeshore businesses looking to build up staff

Twelve businesses will be at the annual Downtown Job Fair in Holland Tuesday. Organizers expect more to sign up.

HOLLAND, Mich. — Exciting employment opportunities exist along the Lakeshore and Holland area businesses hope to entice potential employees to join their companies.

The annual Downtown Holland Spring Job Fair will be held Tuesday, April 16 at the Haworth Inn and Conference Center. It is from 4 - 6 p.m.

"With all of the new developments currently underway, we are anticipating a very busy spring and summer in Downtown Holland," said Downtown Holland Marketing Coordinator Kara de Alvare, "A number of our current businesses are looking to fill positions on their staff and we have new businesses opening this spring that of course having staffing needs as well. Our businesses are extremely eager to hire great candidates before the busy season begins."

  • Courtyard Holland Downtown
  • Freedom Village
  • Fustini's Oils & Vinegars

  • Holland Civic Center
  • Home and Company
  • Windmill Island Gardens

Organizers expect more to sign up before the event starts.

The job fair is free to attend. Attendees do not need to register in advance. Potential job seekers should come prepared with resumes and be ready for sit-down interviews.
