UPDATE: Jason Dalton pleaded guilty on all charges related to the 2016 Kalamazoo shooting spree on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019.
The trial for the accused Kalamazoo shooter, Jason Dalton, is scheduled to start on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
His defense attorney Eusebio Solis said on Friday that Dalton will not be using an insanity plea in his defense.
Dalton is accused of killing six people in a February 2016 shooting spree.
Dalton is charged with six counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder for the shooting spree on Feb. 20, 2016. Police said the now-48-year-old suspect shot the victims between picking up riders for Uber.
Jury selection started on Thursday, and the trial is expected to last about two weeks.
