KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Deputies in Kalamazoo County are investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened Saturday night. Around 11:10 p.m. a man in his forties was walking north on South 9th Street just south of Stadium Drive when he was hit by a black vehicle.
The person driving that vehicle did not stop and continued northward. Deputies say the suspect vehicle should have a missing passenger side mirror and damage to the passenger side headlight.
The man who was hit was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The incident is still under investigation. If you know anything about what happened you are asked to call the Kalamazoo county Sheriff's Office at 269-383-8748 or Silent Observer at 269-343-2100.
