We are learning more about the crash that killed five bicyclists and injured four on June 7, 2016 in Kalamazoo County.

A police report released Friday through the Freedom of Information Act from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety includes new information about the scenes that night.

The report includes some disturbing information about the injuries to the victims. It also describes officers seeing some of the bodies of the deceased at the crash scene.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety also released some photos from within city limits of incidents that happened before the fatal bike crash.

One set of photos shows tire tracks where a vehicle drove through a large grassy lawn and went near a house and through some landscaping.

A second set of photos shows where the vehicle went off the road near Kalamazoo Central High School. You can see tire marks left on the sidewalk as well as a sign post that was bent down after being hit.

The police report includes a report from an officer who was called to the hospital, where suspect Charles Pickett was being held, because he was acting combative with the medical staff. It says he was combative despite the fact that he was handcuffed to the bed and his legs were restrained.

Charles Pickett has since been charged in connection to the fatal crash.
