The police officer nearly killed in the Flint airport attack will be honored in a Fourth of July parade on Tuesday.

Lieutenant Jeff Neville's neck was slashed open in the June 21 attack at the Bishop International airport. Doctors say the cut missed key blood vessels and a nerve by millimeters, sparing his life.

Neville will be honored at the Freedom Festival Parade in Fenton, just south of Flint on Tuesday.

According to the FBI, the attack is now being investigated at a possible act of terrorism. The suspect, 29-year-old Amor Ftouhi is being help without bond on federal charges.
