Mona Shores holds annual 'Sailor Salute' during football game

Honor, educated and conntect with military, fire, police and first responders at the Mona Shores High School football game.

NORTON SHORES, Mich. - The Mona Shores High School varsity football team is bringing back an annual tradition at Sailor Stadium.

Friday September 21, the community is invited to take part in the 'Sailor Salute'.

The event honors military, police, fire and first responders.

There will be emergency and military vehicles for attendees to check out. The Hooligans Flight Team will also fly over the field before the game, along with a motorcycle entry by the Freedom Riders.

All donations from the event will go to the Muskegon County Veterans Food Bank and VFW Post 3195.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
