HOLLAND, Mich. - Ginger Zee, chief meteorologist for ABC and 'Good Morning America' is back home in West Michigan to lead today's Tulip Time parade.

13 ON YOUR SIDE Meteorologist Aaron Ofseyer caught up with Zee Wednesday morning to hear all about how excited Zee was to be back in West Michigan and how special Tulip Time and her Dutch heritage was to her.

Ginger Zee is a Rockford native and plans on sharing highlights from the festival on 'Good Morning America' Wednesday morning, as she will be the grand marshal of the Volksparade starting at 10 a.m.

Tulip Time kicked off last weekend. There are plenty of other parades and activities to take part in throughout the rest of the week, including two other large parades: the Kinderparade on Thursday, May 9 and the Muziekparade on Saturday, May 11.

The Artisan Market ran from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday with items like American Dolls and clothing, home décor, carved cell phone cases and more. The market will extend into Sunday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival itself runs through May 12.
