GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - 13 ON YOUR SIDE Morning Anchor James Starks is new to West Michigan and trying out all kinds of places to get the best bites in his weekly series: Let's Eat.
This week, James and Dave Kaechele take a trip into Grand Rapids' East Hills neighborhood to grab grub from Grove.
Grove is a farm-to-table restaurant on Cherry Street SE that features all kinds of creative, seasonal cuisine that is constantly changing.
James and Dave, joined the Grove's head chef Jeremy Paquin, get a taste of some of the newest summer menu items including a dug leg confit, a Swiss chard gnocchi, salmon with confit carrot and some lamb T-bones.
Grove is open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. (serving both lunch and dinner), Tuesdays through Friday. Happy hour is from 4 until 6 p.m. On Saturday, the restaurant is open from 4 until 10 p.m. It's closed on Sundays and Mondays.
