Get your body back and built a stronger bond with your child through the Fit4Mom exercises.

The Stroller Strides class is a stroller-based fitness program, for moms to get a full-body workout with their children in tow.

Fit4Mom also offers a Stroller Barre class, which mixes ballet, pilates, barre, yoga and stroller-based exercises.

The group meets at least once a day in Wyoming's Metro Health Village and Manhattan Park in East Grand Rapids.

Fit4Mom instructor Marissa Andersen says while many moms see physical improvements, most of the women feel they found a place where they belong.

"Our biggest goal is giving moms strength in motherhood," says Andersen. "We believe in empowering her to be the best mom she can be."

Each hour-long workout contains both cardio and strength moves. Each one can be modified to fit each mom's fitness level. That includes running, walking and the use of resistance bands.

Each exercise incorporates interaction with the kids. Pregnant mothers are also welcome.

All you need to attend a class is a stroller that won't tip and your baby. Fit4Mom recommends children be at least six weeks old, and young enough to sit in a stroller. There are frequent breaks built in for moms to tend to their kids. Snacks and toys are always welcome.

If you'd like to try it out, your first class is free!
