Illness causes Muskegon Public Schools to close Thursday

School will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 18, to allow students and staff to recover.

MUSKEGON, Mich. — According to a Facebook post by Muskegon Public Schools, illness has caused them to close school for Thursday, Feb. 13.

School will resume Tuesday, Feb. 18, allowing students and staff to get better, according to Muskegon Public Schools Superintendent.  

Muskegon Public Schools posted this on their Facebook page Wednesday.

During the break, custodial staff will be disinfecting and wiping all surfaces and touch points in the building to stop the spread of the illness, according to Superintendent Cortez.
