Muskegon's Getty Drive-In scheduled to open for season

The long winter has been a drag, but hopefully the reopening of one of Muskegon's favorite summer stops will pave the way for warmer weather ahead.

MUSKEGON, Mich. -- Movie lovers, get ready!

The Getty Drive-In theater opens back up for business on Friday, April 20. Gates open up at 8 p.m. and movies begin just after dusk.

The theater posted its list of double features online earlier this week.

So here are some ground rules. You can bring your pet, but they have to be leashed. You can also bring lawn chairs and blankets if you'd rather sit outside of your car.

Ticket prices are $10.50 for adults and $5.50 for children between 6 and 12, along with senior citizens 60 or older. On bargain nights, admission is $7 for adults.

To book tickets, you can call the drive-in at 231-733-1813.
