MUSKEGON, Mich. — Muskegon police have closed a stretch of road to conduct an investigation early Monday morning.

It's unclear why police are on scene, but they have closed Houston Avenue from Sanford Street to Peck Street.

Police have been on scene in that area since at least 2 a.m.

Muskegon County Central Dispatch could not confirm to 13 ON YOUR SIDE the nature of the investigation, but did say there is no threat to the public including the homes in that neighborhood.
