WALKER, Mich. - On Aug. 14, two police officers from Walker Police Department helped deliver a baby, according to the department's Facebook page.
Around 5 a.m. that morning, Officers Anna Huisman and Luke Biel with Life EMS assisted a woman who gave birth to a baby girl in her Walker home.
After the delivery, both the mom and the baby girl were transported to a local hospital as a precaution.
A week after the baby was born on Aug. 21, Huisman visited the mom and the new baby. Both are doing well.
