Police ID victim in Wyoming homicide, searching for person of interest

Police are looking for a 21-year-old man who may have been involved in the shooting.

WYOMING, Mich. — The Wyoming Police have identified the victim in a homicide that occurred over the weekend. 

Police said 22-year-old Davion Lee, of Grand Rapids, was shot inside of a vehicle early Sunday morning on 36th Street between Boone and Groveland avenues.

Police also identified a person of interest in the case, 21-year-old Brian Lamont Ashley Jr. 

Ashley has not been charged in this case, but police believe he is involved and they are asking the public to avoid contact if they see him. He could be armed and dangerous.
