Republican Congressman Justin Amash spoke out against's his party's Obamacare replacement in an interview on Wednesday, March 8.

In an interview on CNN, Amash said GOP leaders are trying to "ram" the repeal and replacement plan through Congress -- just like the Obama Administration did when Obamacare was passed in 2010.

Amash believes the best path for his party is to start over and that a major issue political leaders are faced with is the lack of Republicans and Democrats working together on a replacement.

Amash told CNN his party should find "common ground" with Democrats, saying "I think that we can convince Democrats that repeal.. and major reforms to the healthcare system... are needed."

On Tuesday, March 7, Amash tweeted at President Trump saying the new GOP healthcare plan is Obamacare repackaged.

There's nothing "wonderful" about GOP plan. It repackages Obamacare, breaks promises & doesn't lower costs.
