Crews are busy replacing a culvert on Cline Road in Muskegon County after a recently repaired section of road collapsed.

According to Eric Scott, the superintendent of the Muskegon County Road Commission, the section of road between Moorland and Bossett was repaired on Wednesday, Feb. 28, after a separation on one of the seams was noticed.

This morning, Scott got a call the repaired area had collapsed. Engineers are currently designing a plan to fix the culvert.

The road commission has posted two detours: Moorland to Heights Ravenna or Bossett to Heights Ravenna.

Officials say it is too early to know how long the road will be closed.
