GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Traffic on southbound U.S. 131 in Grand Rapids is back to normal after a truck lost a load of lumber on the highway Thursday morning December 6, 2018.
Grand Rapids Police say the truck was carrying two by fours when it lost the load around 7:35 a.m. between Leonard and Ann Streets. The spill closed the right two lanes of the road, delaying traffic during the morning commute.
Crews spent around two hours cleaning up the spill and all of the southbound lanes were opened back up around 10:00 a.m.
