A 32-year-old woman is recovering in the hospital after rolling her SUV this morning.
Deputies say the crash happened around 7:40 a.m. June 5, on M-40 near 31st Street in Van Buren County.
The woman, from Paw Paw, was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Once on scene, deputies found she was stuck under the vehicle by her leg. No other apparent injuries were visible and she was conscious and alert.
Lawton Fire and Rescue were able to lift the SUV off her leg using air bags. She was taken by ambulance to Bronson Methodist for treatment. She is expected to be OK.
The crash remains under investigation -- at this time, the main contributing factor appears to be speed.
