Bulldogs' QB battle continues in spring game

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - Ferris State football showed off in front of the fans for the final time this spring with their annual Crimson and Gold Game.

The Bulldog defense lost 10 starters from last year's team and the Bulldogs leading quarterback, Reggie Bell.

But back is Travis Russell who played quite a bit when Bell was injured. But it is a crowded quarterback room in Big Rapids as they also add former top recruit and Michigan State commit Jayru Campbell.

Both putting their skills on display Friday, Head Coach Tony Annese says the competition is a three way heat with senior Bret Mooney.
