Watch the lakeshore's best high school baseball players at Marsh Field in Muskegon

The best senior high school baseball players along the lakeshore will battle it out at the historic Marsh Field in Muskegon.

MUSKEGON, Mich. — The best high school baseball players that the lakeshore has to offer are battling it out at the historic Marsh Field in Muskegon Monday night.

The Greater Muskegon High School All Star Classic features the best senior high school players in the area.

Players from a dozen different school districts from Ludington to Grand Haven will be split into two teams and face off, showcasing the lakeshore's talent.

The two All Star teams will be coached by Paul Herremans, Head Coach at Ravenna High School and Butch Attig, Head Coach at Reeths Puffer High School.

Greater Muskegon High School All Star Classic School Districts:

  • Reeths-Puffer
  • Mona Shores
  • Muskegon Catholic Central
  • Fruitport
  • Hesperia
  • Montague
  • Spring Lake
  • Ludington
  • Western Michigan Christian Ravenna
  • Fremont
  • Holton
  • Grand Haven

Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens, $2 for students and children 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at Marsh Field and all proceeds will benefit the Marsh Field Improvement Fund.

Marsh Field is located at 800 Ellis Rd. in Muskegon, Michigan. The games starts at 7:05 p.m.

Marsh Field opened in 1916 and is called “the Home of Muskegon Baseball”. The field was home to the Muskegon Reds, has hosted the Detroit Tigers and is now home to the Muskegon Clippers.
