Game of the week: West Catholic at Forest Hills Eastern
West Catholic went into Friday night 4-2 this season while Forest Hills Eastern was 5-1. This match-up was sure to be a good one, but who would come out on top for our week seven Game of the Week?
In Friday night's game the teams competed for first place standing in the OK White Division. Both teams went into Friday night 3-0 in the conference. And this game was their sixth meeting in the last 13 years.
Part 1: West Catholic vs Forest Hills Eastern, Northview vs. Grand Rapids Catholic Central, Ravenna vs. North Muskegon, Ludington vs. Whitehall
West Catholic vs Forest Hills Eastern: West Catholic won, 24-23.
Northview vs. Grand Rapids Catholic Central: Northview won, 12-3.
Ravenna vs. North Muskegon: North Muskegon won, 40-0.
Ludington vs. Whitehall: Whitehall won, 47-10.
Part 2: South Christian vs. Unity Christian, Zeeland East vs. Forest Hills Central
South Christian vs. Unity Christian: Unity Christian won, 50-21.
Zeeland East vs. Forest Hills Central: Forest Hills Central won, 21-6.
Part 3: Grandville vs. Hudsonville, Byron Center vs. Forest Hills Northern, Reeths-Puffer vs. Muskegon, Coopersville vs. Kenowa Hills
Grandville vs. Hudsonville: Hudsonville won, 35-16.
Byron Center vs. Forest Hills Northern: Byron Center won, 51-24.
Reeths-Puffer vs. Muskegon: Muskegon won, 47-7.
Coopersville vs. Kenowa Hills: Kenowa Hills won, 43-41.
Part 4: Fremont vs. Montague, Wayland vs. Grand Rapids Christian, Godwin Heights vs. Kelloggsville
Fremont vs. Montague: Montague won, 70-64.
Wayland vs. Grand Rapids Christian: Wayland won, 55-34.
