EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - It's hard to believe, but even though East Grand Rapids and Zeeland West are state powerhouses, they'd never played each other until Thursday, Aug. 29 and they will have to wait until Friday to complete their game.
East led 7-6 at halftime and when the storms rolled in it was 14-14. The game was delayed with 5:47 left in the third quarter. They'll pick back up at 1 p.m Friday, Aug. 30.
