HOLLAND, Mich. — Madison Wollenzier is this week's winner from Holland West Ottawa.
Madison was a competitive gymnast for years but when an injury sidelined her career, she focused on tennis and hasn't looked back.
When not crushing serves, she crushing her classes, heading to the University of Alabama with her 4.3 GPA.
She will need those smarts as she plans to study biochemical engineering, not exactly easy stuff.
But she plans to lean on the lessons learned in sports to get her through her tough course load in Tuscaloosa.
