This week's Meijer Scholar Athlete is Marcus Cisco from Byron Center.
Marcus wrestles for the Bulldogs in the winter, plays baseball in the spring and also volunteers at Hand to Hand Ministries, making lunches for kids that can't afford them.
Despite that workload, he has a 4.18 GPA. Marcus isn't sure where he wants to go to college yet but he's considering Carnegie Mellon, MIT and Harvard. He'd like to play football and study engineering.
As the son of a head football coach, Marcus says he's become an expert at time management.
"It's really helpful being a coaches kid," Marcus says. "You know you always have to get things done on time and on schedule. (My dad) really helps me make sure I have time for both (school and sports)."
