There is a winter weather advisory for the southern portion of West Michigan, starting at 7 p.m. Friday.

Roads will be slushy and slow-going, but blowing snow is not much of a concern.

The rest of the weekend brings bitterly cold air and, at times, dangerously low wind chills.

Wind chills will fall below zero Saturday evening. Sunday and Monday morning, limit your time outdoors. Wind chills may be as low as -25° and frostbite could happen in less than 30 minutes.
