GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — After being spoiled by sunshine and modest temperatures, two low-pressure systems are set to arrive to remind us that it is still winter!

The first system arrives this evening bringing snow, rain, sleet, and possibly even freezing rain. This wintery mix will continue to track northward overnight and weaken by late Tuesday morning.

Precipitation will come as mainly snow for locations near and north of I-94. A widespread inch of snow will be possible. Freezing rain is also on our radar for all locations, but locations south of I-94 should be extra cautious.

The main threat from this system will be slick roadways from 6 p.m. tonight through 10 a.m. Tuesday. Be sure to give yourself extra time when driving.

The next low-pressure system arrives on Thursday, bringing another round of mixed precipitation. The exact details of this system still need to be ironed out.
