Police asking for public's help to find missing endangered man

PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Kent County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating 43-year-old Richard Drayton of Belmont.

Drayton was last seen on Jan. 25, walking away from his home in Plainfield township. Police believe he may be endangered.

He is a white male, 5’8”, 145 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing an oversized dark fleece-lined hooded jacket and possibly gray sweatpants. 

Police say there is no indication that Drayton is a threat to himself or others. He has health issues that require daily medication.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
