Governor declares June 12 Women Veterans Recognition Day
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer declares June 12 Women Veterans Recognition Day in honor of the state's nearly 44,000 living women veterans and those who served before them who had for years, felt overlooked, underrepresented and underserved in their communities.
