Douglas Crystal, is facing charges including reckless driving causing death, for the September crash on Ritchie Avenue at 15 Mile Road near Rockford.

Investigators say he ran a stop sign, hitting a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Meranda Baguss.

The Sand Lake woman died at the scene, her five-year-old sons were critically injured. Police found Crystal at his home on Stout Avenue, a few miles from the crash scene.
