Amtrak increases train routes during Tulip Time

The extended service will run on two Saturdays during the festival, May 5 and 12, and it will give people the opportunity to make same-day trips.

Amtrak will be offering more trains between Chicago and Holland for people traveling to Tulip Time. These trains will be on the Pere Marquette route and is sponsored by MDOT.

The extended service will run on two Saturdays during the festival, May 5 and 12, and it will give people the opportunity to make same-day trips.

Adult fares for the trains running on those Saturdays will range from $16-48 one way. The Pere-Marquette line will also have daily service from Chicago to Holland every day during Tulip Time.

The annual Tulip Time festival features more than 5 million tulips, Dutch dance performances, a carnival and shopping in Downtown Holland.
