GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) - New CPR guidelines just handed down from the American Heart Association make saving someone's life a little easier.
The guidelines include new compression rates and depths. WZZM 13 Health Reporter Valerie Lego talks with AMR Paramedic Patrick Lickiss about what you need to know if you see someone having a heart attack. It's been proven that administering CPR immediately significantly improves survival rates for heart attack victims outside of a hospital setting.
