Kentwood Police respond to shots fired call Thursday afternoon

The Kentwood Police Department says the report of shots fired came around 1 p.m. on Bowen Blvd.

KENTWOOD, Mich. — The Kentwood Police Department is investigating a report of shots fired Thursday afternoon.

The report came around 1 p.m. on the 4400 block of Bowen Blvd., police say.

When police arrived at the reported location, they detained several people but no arrests were made. There were no reports of injuries.

Police said they questioned several people and an investigation is underway.
