Grand Rapids man dead after being hospitalized from Wyoming shooting

The victim, 34-year-old Marquise Lamar Reid-Moore, was brought to a local hospital for treatment on Friday evening. Police reported that he died on Saturday evening.

WYOMING, Mich. — A Grand Rapids man is dead after being hospitalized following a shooting Friday evening, according to the Wyoming Police Department.

Police said they responded to the 3400 block of Woodward Avenue SW for a report of a shooting around 8:20 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim, 34-year-old Marquise Lamar Reid-Moore, was brought to a local hospital for treatment. 

However, around 7 p.m. on Saturday, police said he died in the hospital from his injuries. 

The shooting is still under investigation.
