100th Street Bridge has been hit so many times, it has a Facebook page

The first post on the page was published on March 23. It simply reads in all caps: "PLEASE STOP HITTING ME!!!!"

The 100th Street Bridge in Byron Township has been hit five times in 2018. Because of that, the bridge has been talked about (by us) a number of times and has turned into something of a public figure.

The latest development in this saga is that the bridge now has a Facebook page called 100th Street Overpass.

The page was created on March 23, and has already gained nearly 5,000 likes. It is a place for reminders about the bridge's height and jokes are made:

The about section on the page says, "I'm just a bridge trying to be a bridge. Everyone keeps hitting me! Please stop hitting me. Check your load height, for the love of God, CHECK YOUR LOAD HEIGHT!!!"
