CASCADE, Mich. (WZZM) -- Shaggy, the wandering dog that has evaded capture for more than six months in a Cascade community, still has not been captured.

According to the Kent County Animal Shelter, the dog appears to be alright and animal control is trying to make him comfortable in a central area. A net gun is now in use, but after one failed attempt with it, they have not been able to get close enough to use it again.

ID=22430503Animal control is not trying to catch the dog alone, but has brought in other animal rescue units, too. They ask that people not visit the Shaggy's central feeding area, and they say they will continue trying to catch the dog for as long as it takes.
