Police searching for missing Battle Creek girl

Lavonda Leeann Marriott-Lockmiller is described as 5-foot-4 and 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - Battle Creek police and several other social service agencies are searching for a 15-year-old girl last seen Aug. 16.

Lavonda Leeann Marriott-Lockmiller was last seen on a security camera at the home of her foster mother at 158 Fremont St. on the morning of Aug. 16. Sgt. Jeff Case said the girl appeared to be carrying some of her property out of the house and was with two young black males. They all left in a gray or silver sedan.

Case said while it appears the girl left voluntarily both police and her family are concerned that something may have happened to her.

She is described as 5-foot-4 and 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
