The Betten Baker Automotive Group has announced plans for further expansion in West Michigan this month.

Contruction on a state-of-the-art Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store and a Pre-Owned Super Center will begin this month in Coopersville, creating a three store automotive campus. Co-owners Bryan Betten and Chris Baker say this is "only one piece of the puzzle" and there will be more announcements of addition stores to come in the following weeks.

With the two new locations in Coopersville, this brings the Betten Baker Automotive Group location count to 13. The Betten Baker Automotive Group owns Betten Baker Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, Betten Baker Honda and Betten Baker Hyundai and Shoreline Motors on Henry Street in Muskegon as well as Betten Baker Preowned in Twin Lake.

Last month, they announced the purchase of Gary Trimarco Chevrolet Buick GMC in Big Rapids and now the acquisition of 4 Grand Dealerships with two locations in Lowell, and one in Grand Rapids and Allegan.

“This Coopersville expansion is truly a testament to the Betten Baker brand. We look forward to announce our plans for more expansion in the near future.” said Betten.

This state-of-the-art Betten Baker Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram facility will be located west of the current Betten-Baker Chevrolet Buick store just off 68th Street and I-96 in Coopersville. The Pre-Owned Super Center will be built in between the two Coopersville locations to better serve the Grand Rapids market and corridor to the Lakeshore.

The new dealerships will bring approximately 50 new jobs to the Coopersville area and will enhance the traffic to all of the retailers and fast food restaurants in the area.
