One person hurt in Zeeland Township shooting

ZEELAND, Mich. — A man will be okay, after he was shot in Zeeland Township. 

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office says the man was taken to Holland Community Hospital just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15. He had a gunshot wound. The man was treated and released.

Deputies say the man was shot at a residence in Zeeland Township. They also believe the victim and suspect know each other. The victim is cooperating with authorities.

There is no threat to the public at this time.

The shooting remains under investigation.
