KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The first distillery in Kalamazoo in 150 years, Green Door Distilling Company is celebrating their awarding winning vodka.
Get Lost Vodka has won a silver medal from the American Distilling Institute. It beat more than 1,000 other spirits to earn the honor. Get Lost scored 87, just three points shy of the gold medal.
Green Door Distilling Company is located in Kalamazoo's River's Edge District, but you can get their products in many places across the state. They have a map of where on their website.
Green Door also makes Backpack Java, Barrier Ridge Bourbon, Abandoned Gin, High Point Honey Whiskey and First Ascent Whiskey.
If you are interested in getting a tour of the distillery, you can book those here. They are $10 a person on Saturdays and include a flight of all the spirits made at the distillery.
