MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. — A man was killed Thursday in an industrial accident in Montcalm County.
Deputies said it happened around 8:30 p.m. during renovations at the former Edmore Hospital.
Crews were working to remove scrap metal from the site when a 22-year-old man was accidentally pinned between a mini-excavator and a boiler that was being removed.
He died from his injuries, deputies said.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
