Man injured in Grand Rapids shooting

Police said there isn't a suspect in custody but there's no danger to the public.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man was injured in a shooting on Saturday afternoon in Grand Rapids, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department. 

GRPD said around 1 p.m. officers responded to the area of Zeno Street near Ionia Avenue for a shooting. 

Police said a male victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and there is not currently a suspect in custody, but there's no danger to the public.
